Hi, I’m Sandy – Head Baker & Product Lead at Schwadis Kitchen.
I develop all recipes myself and focus on European-style baking made with restraint: clean ingredients, traditional techniques, and no unnecessary shortcuts.
Inspired by European food traditions, I focus on simplicity, balance, and ingredients the body recognizes.
My passion for cooking and baking began with a simple priority – preparing real, nourishing food from scratch for my family. Over time, this became a deep commitment to quality, flavor, and honest craftsmanship.
Three years ago, we moved from Germany to the U.S., and Schwadis Kitchen was born from the desire to share traditional European baking with the community around me.
I work with a small, carefully structured process, using basic doughs and foundations that allow for both sweet and savory variations without compromising quality or consistency. This approach keeps the craft manageable, repeatable, and true to its roots.
Most of my baked goods are based on traditional German recipes – from potato bread and braided yeast loaves to crusty rolls, crumb cakes, and delicate pastries. Each product is handmade with care, balance, and respect for the ingredients.
All baked goods are made using 100% USDA-certified organic ingredients whenever available. In rare cases where a certified ingredient cannot be sourced, I carefully select alternatives that meet the same quality standards.
